As from Monday 4th October 2010 the driving test is changing

  These changes are not to worry about. The test as from this date will be as follows:-

1 In the test centre your details will be checked as they are now.

2  Eye sight check as normal.

3 Two basic car maintenance Questions.

4 Out on the road you will be asked to do the following:-

     a. A hill Start

     b. One reversing manoeuvre ( Turn in Road, Reverse corner, Parallel park, Parking bay)

     c. The emergency stop ( only in one third of all tests)

     d. Independent Driving. This will be done in one of two ways. First asked to follow signs to, or , Second to                   follow a diagram of turns which the examiner  will show you.
